A lightweight construction is economically and ecologically beneficial.
It’s purposed to be light in weight, but have strong structure that holds the weight.

The project started with examination of joinery technic. It continued with a sort of ‘weaved’ pattern, which had potential to build up thin wooden sticks to form a flat plane structure.  

The pattern holds them together tight and made each other stronger 
without any additional materials such as glue or screws.

The table top surface is 1m * 2m big.

Maximum of 10 people can have great dinner all together.
Compared to other massive tables with same size, it is very light enough for a single person  to move it around without help.
The weaved wood structure disperse the weight evenly to each other.

With a glass top, you can have a massive table, 
but not making the whole room so full from your sight and in reality.
