Observing our homes, 
how we furnish the space doesn’t allow us to be near the radiator. 

Since our bodies are distant from the radiator, 
the heat energy from radiator diffuse away on their way to us. 
Hence we turn up the temperature to feel warmth, 
either than getting near the radiator, even though that we do know 
it would be warm when we are simply next to them.

Our furnitures distract our habitual behavior to be near the radiator, 
since they aren’t designed to attract people near to the them. 
So how would it be if we simply change the furniture 
to which respect our circumstance and bring us next to the radiator
to enjoy and consume the warmth efficiently?

The shape of the back cushion is meant to hug the user.
In basic setup, the sloped part of the cushion 
offers ergonomical comfort for the back. 
This slope also maximizes the ‘hug’ in the ‘Hive’ mode. 
When flipped up down, the back cushion opens up more surface of the seat cushion,
providing more space for the user to lay down and snuggle, 
while the other side hugs in the user into the Sitzle.

According to how the user wish to enjoy the warmth, 
Sitzle can be coordinated into 3 different modes;
‘Hive’, ‘Single’, ‘Double(Communal)’.

Most of radiators are located underneath the windows for air-flow. 
Because the Sitzle must be located in front of radiators, 
while sitting in Sitzle, it’s easier to gaze out the windows, 
rather than facing indoors like normal furnitures.
